Building Connections, Leadership, and Community: A Look Inside the Leadership Greater Nashua Program

At Netlogic Computer Consulting, we believe that personal and professional growth go hand in hand—and that true leadership extends beyond the workplace. Being actively involved in the local community is just as important as excelling in business, which is why we encourage our team members to seek opportunities for learning, connection, and service. Our Chief Marketing Officer, Nicolas Tessitore, has embodied this philosophy through his participation in Leadership Greater Nashua (LGN), a transformative program that fosters leadership while making a real impact in our local community of Nashua, New Hampshire.

A Shared Purpose

The LGN Class of 2025 is made up of 32 individuals from various backgrounds, all united by a common goal: to become stronger leaders while making a real impact in the greater Nashua area of NH. Throughout the year, participants visit businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies, learning firsthand how different sectors contribute to the city’s success.

One of the most rewarding aspects of the program is the opportunity to collaborate on a community project together—this year, the class is working to restore the Nashua Soup Kitchen by repainting walls, adding tables to expand capacity, and tackling various facility improvements. This project is a tangible way for the group to give back and directly support an essential community resource.

Immersive Learning & Local Leadership

Each month, LGN participants dive into a different aspect of Nashua’s ecosystem. A recent highlight for Nicolas was Government & Politics Day, where the group gained a deeper understanding of how decisions made at the state and local levels shape daily life in Nashua. The day began with a visit to the New Hampshire State House, where participants engaged in discussions with Governor Kelly Ayotte, Senators Kevin Avard and Cindy Rosenwald, and House Representatives, gaining firsthand insight into the legislative process and the challenges faced by state leaders. They also had the privilege of taking a guided tour led by Virginia Drew, a walking encyclopedia of New Hampshire history, who brought the state’s rich political heritage to life.

Following the State House visit, the group traveled to Nashua’s Town Hall, where they met with Mayor Jim Donchess and former city leaders. These conversations provided a valuable perspective on Nashua’s growth, ongoing initiatives, and the complexities of managing a city. Former Senator Peggy Gilmour and former Mayor Donalee Lozeau also shared their experiences, offering insight into how past leadership decisions have shaped Nashua’s present and future.

But LGN isn’t just about government—it’s about understanding all aspects of leadership, from running a business to managing a nonprofit to improving community services. By immersing themselves in these different sectors, participants gain the tools and connections needed to make a lasting impact, both professionally and within the Nashua community.

Leadership in Action: Growing, Learning, and Giving Back

For our CMO, participating in LGN has been more than just a professional development experience—it has been an opportunity to build lasting connections, gain invaluable leadership insights, and contribute to the city in a meaningful way.

“Joining LGN is one of the best opportunities I have had in my professional life.”

Nicolas’ involvement in LGN is a testament to our company’s belief that great leaders are lifelong learners, community builders, and problem-solvers. We are incredibly proud of his dedication to both his personal and professional growth, as well as his commitment to giving back to Nashua.
